Meet the owners...

39 years and going on Everlasting...

Vickie and George Lawrence

Spring Break 2013
Meet George- He runs the gut of this operation. He takes care of the freeze drier, the chemicals, the ordering of the frames, domes and the like. He also runs the orchard- you might have seen him at Lawrence Orchards. Often he is the one you will talk to when you first call, or drop off flowers.
George has grown up at the orchard and has run the orchard since the early 1980s. The orchard itself has been in business since 1923. Everlastings branched out in 2002.
Then there is Vickie- she does the creative stuff. Making sure the flowers are put in just so. She is the one who gets everything is in place for the order, so that when it is time to put the display together it is just right. She works on the color and design of each project.
We are setting up design consultations to get the customers more in touch with the design process. Vickie's design passion began when she was a child and spent hours with her mom who designed flower arrangements for her garden clubs. Vickie saw a need to do something with her flowers when she was married over 30 years ago. She used dried flowers
with just a few fresh so that she could create a wall hanging. Of course, after years of being open to the air, they had to be discarded. She delights in working with these designs and putting them behind the protection of glass or acrylic, thus ensuring that they will last.
